Use your words

The moments I felt most
  alive this week
Were not as you sucked
  vigorously on my breasts
But when I sat at the
  Newberry Library
Listening to Martin Espada
  declaim his poetry
Words rolling out of his
  graying beard
His left hand gesturing to
  the beat of each syllable

I want to be wooed with
  words – millions of them
Long, short, familiar and
  exotic – alliterative, abrupt
Borrow a few from Pablo,
  from Emily or Cyrano
Or dust off a favorite love
  song from the 40s
Use your words as lustily
  as your hands, please,
Which will not linger on my
  body after you are gone
